If you would like to earn money selling the products or services of the Alchemy Guild Webring network, sign up for our affiliate program. Affiliate programs are common throughout the Internet and offer website owners and others a means of profiting from their website traffic, friends, customers, conference attendees, etc. Our program is free to join, easy to sign-up, and requires no technical knowledge. You don’t even need a website to earn commissions!

When you join the IAG affiliate program, you are given a special “Promotion Code” through which people purchase our products. This code is embedded automatically in a range of banners and textual links that you can place within your site and we supply free of charge. When a user clicks on one of your links to us or enters your Promotion Code on an order form, their activity will be tracked by our affiliate software. You may also sell our products offline in ads, in your store, or at fairs and conventions and enter sales manually. We offer generous profits and even give you a free sign-up bonus of $5 to get you going.

All tracking and payments are handled through independent, third-party software operated by iDevAffiliates. You receive tuition credits or can choose to have cash payments made to your PayPal account or by check. You have complete control of your account with real-time reporting and statistics. When you click on the above link, you will be taken to the Affiliate Signup page. By signing up for our Affiliate network, you are agreeing to the conditions and requirements set out in the Affiliate Information section below.

Fill out the form with your name and contact information. You will also create your own Username and Password. If you do not have a website, simply enter “no web” in the box that asks for a web address. You can add one or more websites later if you want. Click the submit button when you are finished.

In the next window, click on “Manage Your Account.” Your Promotion Code and ID is shown at the end of the HTML code in the “Standard Linking Code” box.

Under “Marketing” in the sidebar, you will find suggested advertising and banners. In the “Product Group” box select the website products you want to promote. Click on “Display Ads” and the ad will be displayed along with the HTML code with your unique ID to copy and paste into your website. This is usually placed on the Home or Index page.

To track your sales, click on “Account Management” in the sidebar. You can also download the CommissionAlert and CommissionStat software to monitor your sales from your computer desktop.

To update or change your settings, log into the Affiliate signup page (www.crucible.org/idevaffiliate) in the “Existing Affiliate Login” box with your Username and Password.

For that reason, we reserve the right to suspend or withhold payments from persons who are not directly involved and actively participating in the Hermetic sciences or esoteric arts.

How does the program work?

How am I paid?
You receive 10% of each sale made through your site. PayPal accounts with more than a $25 balance are paid on the first of each month. PayPal is the fastest and most secure payment method, and we recommend you create a PayPal account if you do not have one. Checks for balances above $25 are sent quarterly (every third month) and are subject to a $3 handling fee.

How do I keep track of my commission earnings?
You have complete, real-time access to all sales and commissions made to your account. You can log into your account at any time to view your current earnings and history. CommissionStats is free Windows desktop application that allows you to check stats without having to open a web browser or login to their control panel. With CommissionStats, you can view your complete history and trends. CommissionAlert is a free Windows desktop application that alerts you instantly to any new sales and commissions.

What kinds of links can I use?
You may use graphic banners and text links both on your own personal website and in emails from you. You may use the graphics and text provided to you by us, or you may create your own. The site may also be advertised offline in classified ads, magazines, and newspapers that are placed directly by you. However, you may not use our affiliate system to accept affiliate leads or orders from search engines, search portals, multiple-listing generators, pyramid sites, or any commercial networks whose intent is primarily to earn revenues from downstream linking or advertising. You are prohibited from earning revenue from our affiliate system if your website is involved in phishing, spamming, scatter-linking, keyword fraud, hacking, or any other deceptive practice.

How does customer tracking work?
When a web surfer clicks through your affiliate link, a cookie is set in their browser that contains your affiliate username. Also, their Internet IP address is tracked in the database along with your affiliate information. When this person decides to buy a product, the script will look for this cookie and/or try to match their IP address to identify the affiliate who will be awarded the commission.

Must customers reorder products through my site?
NO! Unlike many affiliate programs, we allow you to keep your customers and get credit for their purchases no matter when they order. Visitors sent through your affiliate link may make a purchase later in time and the commission will still be awarded if the cookie is present in their browser and they are using the same IP address as the one logged in our database.

How do I sell your products offline, in stores, or at conventions?
With our program, you can market our products offline. This means you don't need a website and can still earn money through our affiliate program. Under a traditional linking structure, the affiliates place their text/banner linking code on their site and send in traffic. That traffic is recorded and when the customer makes a purchase, the affiliate is credited a commission. With our offline marketing system, you can market our products to anyone anywhere by having the customer enter your affiliates ID number (referred to as a "Promotion Code") when they order online or through the mail. You can also enter the information manually into the Offline Marketing Box on our website.
