ALCHEMY GUILD MEMBERS ONLY

 ADMISSION TO THE ARCHIVES

The Alchemy Guild Archives contain over 22 gigabytes of original alchemy manuscripts, books, formulae, audio files, images, software, and other resources and are the largest collection of alchemical and Hermetic manuscripts, scrolls, drawings, engravings, eBooks, software, and other documents in the world. Admission to our library is restricted to current IAG members only. For information on joining, please go to the Membership page.

The archived materials are intended for member’s personal use only. No files may be shared or published in any way. If you download a file, your membership number will be encoded within the file. Should the file appear on another person's computer, in electronic media, or on the Internet, you will be expelled from the Guild and subject to prosecution for copyright infringement. If you wish to use any of the resources or images in the archives for publication, you must secure prior permission from the International Alchemy Guild. Before entering the archives, new members must agree to the following Users Agreement:

I do hereby agree to keep secret any and all documents in the Alchemy Guild Archives. I will use all materials in the archives for my personal edification, for private research purposes, laboratory work, and for my own physical, mental, and spiritual transformation. I swear not to disseminate this information in any way, unless I have prior approval from the Guild. I will make copies of these documents for my personal use only and will not publish, upload, or share them with others. I understand to do so is against international copyright laws, as well as a violation of the ancient and sacred Oath of Secrecy of the alchemists.

New members must enter by the link above at least once to gain full access to the Archives.   Afterwards, you may enter Sub Rosa.

After entering your membership ID and password, you will be taken to the Index of Archives. This page lists the category folders under which the materials are filed. Clicking on a folder will reveal its contents. The name of the file, date it was last modified or uploaded, its size, and a short description are shown. Clicking on the file will open it in your computer.

The Archives are organized into 25 folders, which are broken down into hundreds of subject folders. The current status of the Archives, including new upload scheduling and maintenance announcements, is contained in the text file "00 CURRENT STATUS." Guild manuals and other documents related to membership activities are in the "00 Guild Documents" folder. The Portal of the Archives is shown below. If you are a member, you may enter any section of the Archives by clicking belo0w:

CURRENT ARCHIVE STATUS

New Additions to Archives:

  • Golden Book of Chemistry

  • Lapidus: In Pursuit of Gold

  • Brotherhood of Light: Doctrine of Spiritual Alchemy

  • Book of Abraham the Jew

  • Voynich Manuscript

  • Albertus Magnus: Compound of Compounds

The Archives are huge even in terms of the largest Internet corporate or government sites. It will take up to 4 weeks of continuous around-the-clock downloading (depending on your connection speed) to copy all the files. Because new files are constantly being added, and these original files will always be available to members, you can save yourself a lot of time and disk space by doing your research and printing online, rather than downloading files.

The Archives are already larger than the ancient Library of Alexandria and contain many of the same manuscripts. Part of the charter requirements of the Guild is to preserve these documents in electronic form for future generations. Help us in this work by uploading your files and adding your own hermetic writings to this growing collection. To upload materials into the Guild Archives, go to  ftp://alchemyguild.org/Upload and enter your uploads username and password.

Nearly all the files in the Archives are “pdf” format and you will require an Adobe Reader to read them. You can download a free copy of the Adobe Reader by clicking here:

ADD AN ARCHIVES PORTAL TO YOUR WEB!    If you would like to add a portal to the Archives to your website, please contact the Alchemy Guild and we will send you an htm file for uploading. In exchange, we will feature your website in our links sections with a 100-word description and banner if you have one.
